Barbaresco, Pio Cesare
A very classical style Barbaresco, opulent and velvety, with hints of violet and ripe spicy black berried fruit.
Rich smooth tannins, elegant with good structure and concentration, and very long life.
Aged in large French oak casks called “botti” for about 30 months, with a small amount aged in barriques as well.
